Some Spideypool I drew at like 3 am while spacing out and listening to music. (Often a good time for me to draw; keeps me from over-thinking things. 
) Wade's super tall (like 6'2") and built, Peter's rather short (5'10" in his thirties, so Teen!Peter is what, 5'6"?) and kind of skinny, so put them side by side and Deadpool looks like a giant! 
On top of that, Deadpool wears boots with quite a bit of tread. Peter wears...either very flat sneakers (Converse-style) or the Spider-Man boots, which are like wearing no shoes at all. I suppose Spidey needs no tread when he can make his feet stick to the ground, wall, etc!
