Making this took a LOT more work than you might suspect.... This is the college Web Animation midterm that kept me busy for hours on end every evening this week; it was made entirely in Flash, including all of the artwork, with the mouse because I kept forgetting to bring my tablet along until I'd already finished drawing everything.

Anyway, it has its own self-contained story....the joke here is, of course, that in Japanese bento boxed lunches people tend to give the foods faces and make them so cute that it's hard to eat them...so, what if they thought they were too cute to be eaten? And then, what if they turned out to be wrong? Here is the result.

The assignment, by the way, was to make a one-minute animation advertising something...I chose bento, and as you can see I went over the time juuuust a bit.
